aidoru has a pretty good local music management system, just point to your media directory, and it'll automatically populate the library.
You can then search for music based on title and album easily.
aidoru follows a minimalist design philosophy. everything is uncluttered and well organized, yet not sacrificing functionality.
aidoru is built upon Python and PyQt5, meaning it can run on all major desktop platforms, Windows, Linux and macOS*.
It is also fast and lightweight, taking only ~40Mb in RAM and disk usage!
It even integrates well with your OS, supporting mpris (for Linux), keyboard shortcuts and taskbar integration (for windows)!
*macOS support currently untested
